Boys will be boy - again. Withrow and the Barons pitcher got ejected. And the game went on. That's Wes high-fiving Withrow as he made his way off the field after the ejection.

Trip to Chicago!!

I took a double decker bus and ventured to downtown Chicago for dinner with Jon and Krystina.

While there I saw beautiful sites!!!

....amazing people......

...and more amazing people ......

..... and was treated to a nice walking tour and a fabulous meal.....

not at that white-linen-tablecloth restaurant, but at Sweetwater Cafe on Michigan, near the river..... It was a 3-hour visit full of fun and chit-chat. I'm going again soon!!!!

Standing on the field silently in front of the Birmingham bullpen was Salvador Sanchez and facing Sanchez, standing on the field in front of the Chattanooga bullpen, was Lookouts' pitcher Wes Roemer. As the players, benches, umpires, and fans waited and waited, the two pitchers continued to stand silently in what appeared to be an old fashioned game of who will be the first to move. Neither man was going to give in. Eventually, third base umpire Carlos Torres walked out and said something to Sanchez who turned and went into the Barons' bullpen.
